The RX2 is Dive Rite's most advanced lighting system utilizing an intelligent microprocessor control unit that keeps the light operating at peak efficiency. The smart controller features:

• Battery State-of-Charge Monitoring
• Low Battery Indication at Turn On
• Temperature Monitoring for Device Protection
• OFF - HIGH - LOW Selection via Rotary Switch

  The RX2 employs four Luxeon® Rebel™ LEDs at a system lumen rating of 880 lumens at full power. At one meter, the RX2 boasts a LUX rating greater than 1,000 lumens. Designed for technical diving, the RX2 has a tight 10-degree beam at 6500°K that is useful for signaling, yet covers enough area to illuminate the surrounding environment for better awareness.

The sidemount version of the RX2 features a canister lid with cord attached at a carefully selected 70° angle. In testing, Dive Rite found this angle to work best for butt mounting or tank mounting the light canister. At 54-inches, the power cord is also 10-inches longer than the standard 44-inches. As with the standard RX2, the light switch is on the light head rather than the canister. The RX2 canister also features Dive Rite's unique Quick Mount system for easy on off mounting on 2-inch webbing, or if you prefer add the canister mounting strap to use quick links to attach to the battery to your butt plate.
